Children's Ministries
Infant & Toddler Nursery
The nursery at New Hope Chapel is staffed during services each week by church members, regular attenders, and teen helpers. Children as young as 6 weeks or as old as 3 years are welcome into this warm and loving environment. Volunteers sing songs, read stories, and play games with the children, helping them to grow in the family of Christ.
Laura Green and Amy Marr are the nursery coordinators - anyone who wishes to volunteer should get in touch with them!
Sunday School
Due to New Hope Chapel's relatively small size, we divide the children into groups each year according to their readiness to study God's word. This year, the classes are as follows:
- Toddlers (ages 2 & 3)
- Pre-K through 3rd Graders (ages 4 through 8)
- Primary (4th through 7th grades)
- Junior & Senior High (8th through 12th grades
Classes are taught each week, beginning in September and concluding in June, by a member of New Hope Chapel. Of course, Sunday School is available for the adults, too!
Junior Church
During the latter half of the Sunday service, a Junior Church is available for children ages 4 through 3rd grade. There is a short bible lesson, a craft and some singing that is geared to children in this age group. Children are welcome to stay upstairs in the main service as well.
Other Activities
Throughout the year, New Hope Chapel holds various activities and events for the children. These range from a "Harvest party" in October to Veggie Tales movie nights.
