A typical film program will include: Travel to village, setup equipment, inviting and meeting the people, pre-film worship and singing time, first part of the film, gospel presentation and invitation, end of the film, equipment load-out.

A Sunday morning church service may include: Sharing testimonies, preaching, singing, teaching in Sunday School, reading scriptures.

Well Digging Project

Godfrey Tay is in charge of well digging projects. If interested there will be an opportunity to dig wells –yes by hand- to provide clean water. It may entail digging an existing well deeper or digging a new well.

Medical Project

Medical clinics are an option if there is interest and support.  Medical clinics can be planned to provide treatment in the Ashante area. Additional funds would be required to purchase the medication (e.g., antibiotics, topical medicine). GHI has connections to purchase the medication at a reduced price and get it to Ghana.

The response to these efforts has been overwhelming and much appreciated. One example is a clinic in a village where the expectation was for a few hundred people but over a thousand showed up. The antibiotics did not go very far. A well thought-out and planned effort will be needed to make this an effective ministry opportunity.

Estimated Cost

Air fare $1,500 per person;

Hotel/Food $600 per person Dbl. Occ. (Single Occ. ss more for the hotel/ less for food)

Estimate total $2,100.00 per person
